Welcome

Codex Alpe Adria 2007 aims to remain the small but high-quality digital culture event with a familiar atmosphere that made it so enjoyable to visitors of previous editions.

Codex Alpe Adria 2007 will let people show, see, relate and discuss hardware, software, creativity and art. The event aims to offer an opportunity for fellow software and hardware developers, sceners and users to meet with an open mind, embodying the values of friendship, diversity, creativity and excellence that Codex Alpe Adria stands for. As usual, the event will dedicate special attention to non-traditional computing and demoscene productions, while combining the latest news with a glimpse of the past.

The geographical location of Udine and its many transportation options, which include three airports and a wealth of low-fare airlines, make it a different place with fresh potential to meet people with similar interests from the East and the West, the North and the South of Europe, and beyond.

The 2007 event aims to celebrate and bring together the diversity of the people and of the region by not being bound to a single place, but rather by moving around as a group, and sharing experience and friendship in the process.

Codex Alpe Adria 2007 will be free to all attendees (except for main meals and museum entries), including those who would like to play a more active role and present something. Complimentary refreshments will be served during the event.

Pre-registration is appreciated, and may be required in case more people than expected decide to join. The Saturday event will be preceded and followed by dinners with friends and tours across the region. The organizers, exhibitors, special guests and volunteers who are making the event possible are working hard to make this an experience you won't want to miss, and help you put together a memorable vacation around the show.

Whether you would like to stay one night or one week, just tell us if you need anything, and our team will work to find it for you. And once you are here we will of course guide you to some typical places to eat and have a glass (or two...) of local vino (wine).

We are extremely humbled and grateful for the support and feedback we received so far, and we look forward to making you have a great time in Udine.
