Codex Alpe Adria sessions have a focus on public seminars on Saturday, and on demoscene productions and creativity on Sunday. Demoscene productions and retrocomputing artifacts are normally on display all day during both Saturday and Sunday. This year's Saturday event will be "different" in that everything will be loaded on a bus, and we will tour the region. Presentations will be short (about 15 minutes, followed by Q&A) and without distractions, and there will be retrocomputing items, videos and other activities to enjoy and get to know each other.
Please also refer to the overall event schedule for departure and arrival times, meeting locations, dinners, etc.
The following sessions are planned for Saturday (on the bus or in Aquileia, Cividale, San Daniele or Udine):
Barbara Zucchia, an official guide of the region, will walk us through the marvels of the local history and culture.
The following topics are planned for Sunday (in the Tarvisio Alps):
All the speakers of the scheduled sessions will be available throughout the day for personal presentations. This especially applies to the case where the language of the session was not what you hoped for, in which case we are at your disposal to repeat, translate and assist as desired.
Several other attendees will be sharing their hardware and experience during the event.
As in previous years, visitors and attendees have pre-registered from several neighboring and more distant countries, including Austria, Australia, Slovenia, Germany, Sweden, the USA and the UK. We encourage everybody to take this opportunity to build bridges and make new friends.
