The hotel is closer to downtown compared to last year's hotel (in the train station area), and is near the 2007 event bus departure itself (10 minutes walking distance). The hotel is 4 minutes by bus from the train station (line 4 "San Gottardo", stopping at Piazzale Oberdan).

The special rate for Codex Alpe Adria 2007 guests (including taxes and breakfast) is EUR 55.00 per night for a single room, or EUR 86.00 for a double or twin room. The rate applies to any number of nights, but be sure to mention "Codex Alpe Adria" when placing the reservation. All rooms have bathroom, air conditioning and TV. All bathrooms have a shower, some also have a bathtub. The hotel (including rooms and lobby) is WiFi-enabled.

The hotel is marked by the "1" sign on the north downtown map, and is within walking distance from the city center and from event-related bus stops.

If you are crazy enough you may be tempted to consider spending Saturday night (probably not sleeping :-) at one of the nearby events, or at the beach in Lignano after a wild disco night.

Through other visiting friends we collected positive experience concerning student and youth hostels in Rome, Florence, Pisa and other cities, and you might be lucky and find a place without reserving first, however if you are interested you better do an internet search and reserve in advance.
